The show was on display at Rio Comicon for 4 days, then moved to the Centro Cultural São Paulo (November 15 to December 18, 2011). It featured 107 works by Will Eisner, plus a unique bronze sculpture of The Spirit, sketchbooks, publications and other materials related to Eisner's life and long career.

CAPE partner Denis Kitchen comes in at #2 on Wizard World's list of 12 Essential Underground Artists. We're proud to say that 11 of the 12 artists are represented in our app and the Underground Classics book & exhibit.
In September, CAPE Partner Kim Munson spoke at the San Jose Museum of Art about Robert Crumb's art and career in conjunction with their exhibition of Crumb's Genesis Illustrated.
In 2009, CAPE curated the Underground Classics exhibition, which had its debut at the Chazen Museum of Art (Madison, WI). The show featured a diverse collection of works from over 50 underground comix artists whose works came to symbolize and incorporate many of the political and social drivers of the counter-cultural movement of the 1960s in America. This show is now available for exhibition at other venues. CAPE has also partnered with the software developer Toura to develop the Comix Classics underground comix app for iPhone, Android, iPad and other mobile devices. Toura, an app platform commonly used by museums for touring exhibits, has also worked with the V&A, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the British Library.
